परमेश्वर के साथ एक व्यक्तिगत संबंध कैसे आरंभ करें

क) वह पवित्र है। वह किसी भी वस्तु या किसी भी जन से बढ़कर विस्मयकारी है! वह एकदम धर्मी हैं। |

ग) वह सृष्टिकर्ता है। परमेश्वर ने ही सब कुछ रचा है, जिसमें आप भी सम्मलित हैं; इसलिए वह जानता है कि आपके लिए क्या उत्तम है। उसने आपकी भलाई और अपनी महिमा के लिए व्यवस्थाएँ भी बनाई हैं (जीवन जीने के लिए दिशानिर्देश दिए हैं) |

| २. आपके और मेरे बारे में | |

क)हम सबने पाप किया है। सृष्टि के रचे गए पहले मनुष्य, आदम ने परमेश्वर की अवज्ञा की और आदम की अवज्ञा के कारण पाप नामक घातक आत्मिक बीमारी ने संसार में प्रवेश किया। आदम के आत्मिक वंशज होने के रूप में हम सब भी पाप से संक्रमित हो गए हैं। और आदम के समान ही, हम सब ने उसकी व्यवस्था को तोड़कर परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध पाप किया है। |

ख) पाप का न्याय किया जाना निश्चित है। क्योंकि परमेश्वर पवित्र और धर्मी है, न ही वह पाप को स्वीकार कर सकता है और न ही उसे अनदेखा कर सकता है। ऐसा करना उसके चरित्र का उल्लंघन करना होगा और उसके स्वभाव को भ्रष्ट करना होगा। पाप का दंड है परमेश्वर से अलगाव और मृत्यु। |

ग) हम एक बेहतर व्यक्ति बनने और अच्छे कार्य करने के द्वारा अपने पापों की “भरपाई” नहीं कर सकते हैं। अनंत परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध किसी भी पाप के अनंत परिणाम होते हैं। हम ऐसे किसी समाधान को नहीं 'निकाल' सकते हैं जो पाप की समस्या को 'दूर' कर सके। केवल परमेश्वर ही ऐसा कर सकता है। यदि आवश्यक हो तो पाठ २१ की समीक्षा करें। मनुष्य की सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता बेहतर बनना नहीं है बल्कि नया बनना है (पाठ ५८)।. |

क) क्योंकि परमेश्वर आपसे इतना अधिक प्रेम करता है कि उसने अपना एकलौता पुत्र यीशु मसीह दे दिया, ताकि वह आपके पापों का दाम चुकाए। आपको क्रूस और उसके परिणामों से बचाने के लिए यीशु ने क्रूस की मृत्यु सह ली। फिर भी, मृत्यु यीशु को परास्त न कर सकी, और कब्र में रखे जाने के तीन दिनों के बाद, यीशु फिर से जी उठा। |

a. Salvation is a gift. What God offers you through Jesus is a gift. And though it is free, it was quite costly to obtain. It cost God more than we could ever understand. It cost God His Son. |

b. A gift is not yours until you receive it. You cannot earn a gift, and it cannot be forced on you. But a gift is not yours until you choose to receive it. You receive God’s gift through faith, by trusting Him. You may begin a personal relationship with God by praying the following simple prayer. |

Here are some important things you need to know about your new life in Christ!
- Because you have believed and confessed, you are saved! (Romans 10:9-10)
- These are the wonderful things that have happened to you:
- You have been born again; this means you are a new creation in Christ! (1 Peter 1:23; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
- The Holy Spirit of God now indwells you forever so you can have a personal relationship with Him and He can empower you to follow Him as your Lord! (1 Corinthians 3:16; Romans 8:10-11; 1 Corinthians 6:17)
- The angels of Heaven are now rejoicing in the decision you have made and we are rejoicing with them (Luke 15:10)
- Because there was nothing you did to earn your salvation (it is a gift from God), there is now nothing you can ever do to lose your salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-10; John 10:28)
- You are sealed with His Holy Spirit and guaranteed eternal salvation. (Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:21)
- God’s Holy Spirit will now testify to your spirit that you are His child and that you will be with Him forever. (Romans 8:16-17)
- It is very important for you to grow in your new relationship with Jesus Christ. Growth in your relationship comes through talking to God continually and reading His Word, the Bible, daily. It also comes through meeting with other Christians for fellowship, worship, encouragement, accountability, Bible study and service. Meeting together with other Christians like this is called the church. You need to find and attend a church that believes and teaches the Bible.
- It is now important for you to rejoice witih others in the decision you have made, both Christians and non-Christians. In the next 24 hours, try to tell at least 5 people about your relationship with Jesus Christ.
